Continuing my armchair garden revisits… my latest photo blog returns to Sanssouci Park. The Sanssouci Palace was a day’s train trip from Berlin. The parkland surrounds the Sanssouci Summer Palace. I didn’t bother much with the overelaborate interiors, instead I focused on walking through the parkland with its multiple vistas.

The Gardens have a formal layout with statues, follies and hard landscaping as well as huge trees.

The gardens also boast formal bedding in a variety of patterns.
